Pattern One: Water but No Harvest

What it confirms: board signal failure on the fill side. The timing logic that triggers fill after harvest has dropped out.
This pattern is sometimes misread as a water supply problem. It isn't. A quick check on the valve solenoid with a multimeter separates them fast.
Pattern Three: Partial Fill
The tray fills, but not completely — consistently. Every cycle produces smaller-than-normal cubes, or the cubes are hollow, or the front half of the tray is empty while the back half froze normally.
What's happening: the board is cutting the fill signal short. The water inlet valve is opening but being closed too early by a board timer that's losing consistency.
What it rules out: low water pressure (which produces small cubes too, but inconsistently — pressure problems vary cycle to cycle). With board failure, the partial fill is uniform. Same pattern, same tray position, every time.
What it confirms: board timing degradation. This is the subtlest of the three patterns and the one most likely to be misattributed to water supply. Consistent geometry is the tell.
